Yeah Frank being his stepdad feels wrong in this moment. I don’t know what other studios exist at this point but I want it to be them that gets it. He isn’t a nepo-baby so it shouldn’t seem like he is.

Ehh I’m honestly not feeling the way his mother is just showing up and acting like everything is hunky Dory because she got a sugar daddy that she probably had for years didn’t help with the children child support wise then suddenly shows up to take them away because now she has money and power so that makes it okay. Idk idc how nice she is being, aka being a pushover because she is/was a bad mother but that’s just another form of neglect just the same as she was before. At least she’s trying but there’s trying and then there is forcefully taking away kids from the father who took care of them all their life to their deadbeat mother because she got a sugar daddy to pay for them. While you don’t know her you don’t know nothing about the step dad other than what you’ve seen on the outside it’s definitely something I would be sketchy of in irl. Also I don’t like the nepotism going on but I can’t say I’m surprised. I was hoping for more of a ground roots style but it’s the 80’s what can you do.
also this it me just disliking her and Frank as a character on principal if I were to be honest. But I’m pretty unforgiving to child neglect and abandonment, bc imo if you decide to leave me like that as a child I better not see you come back, cus I don’t know you who are you? But I got issues lol. Also it’s me seeing the she’s trying to be the “fun mom” vibes I’m getting because she has money to spare and the neglect to give it without abandon or care for what it would due to an actual teenager compared to a reborn one. Let alone the siblings which definitely need to be checked up on.Also sorry but thank you for coming to my ted talk. XD

I also realised the nepotism would take away the fun in the story, that’s why Noah would be distancing himself from Frank eventually.
